The vette with 35 psi and a drag race car setup like that one would murder that supra. The vette is still a street car on moderate boost and regular pump gas you not getting it. They supra could never do that.

Here's a mustang with a similar setup to the supra running a 7.05 @ 223. It later ran a 6 second 1/4. Look at that trap 223 that f'ing amazing.

But the beauty of the vette it's still a full fledged street car on pump gas. You can drive it anywhere and buy it ready to go like that from rpm speed shop.

ill tell you what i had a 87 supra with a 4 doller home made boost controller and a pos 3 inch exhaust that cost me 300 dollers and it topped out at over 180 mph. i hade 2200 in it total

damn....... i might have to get me a V6 Supra on 35 psi and race gas........ or maybe a V4 SRT-4 and put me one of dem turbos from a 797 Caterpillar rock-truck on it..... tuned for 74 psi on race gas, methanol, and nitro

supra is different from a neon. it handled ok. my neon is not to bad at 160

I'm sure you were flying but unless you had a gps tracking your land speed. I have about as much faith in that mechanical speedo as I would an oxy addicted security guard in a Rite Aid after hours.

no gps. but for 2200 it aint bad. couldnt have been that far off

Who knows but most on normal passenger cars are very inaccurate after 120.
